The Labour-Intensive Public Works (LIPW) component is a flagship intervention under the Ghana Productive Safety Net Project 2 (GPSNP2). It provides temporary employment opportunities to poor and extremely poor households while developing productive community assets that promote local economic growth, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. With a total allocation of US$47 million, comprising US$28 million from the original financing and US$19 million under Additional Financing, the LIPW component continues to expand its coverage and strengthen its impact across targeted districts nationwide .
